Through education, research, and science-based methods, the team in Island Kennel Training equips their clients with knowledge and skills to train, and communicate with their pet dogs with clarity and effectiveness in their day-to-day interactions, and setting realistic expectations without compromising human values and animal welfare.
Island Kennel Training is led by Sebastian Alcaraz with the aim of helping build & develop client's relationship with their canine companions.
Sebastian is a BSc Psychology holder with a career in the education sector prior to transitioning into dog training & applied animal behavior consulting. He is one of 13 Certified Professional Dog Trainers (CPDT-KA holder) in Hong Kong qualified through the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers.
*The CCPDT is the leader in the development of rigorous exams to demonstrate mastery of humane, science-based dog training practices. Thousands of dog training professionals worldwide maintain the CCPDT’s certifications as a mark of high professional distinction.

SERVICES AND FEES
Initial assessment*
Initial meeting with the trainer to discuss and understand client needs and observe pet dog behaviors within immediate living environment.
Basic training and immediate applicable adjustments will also be advised, and most suitable training approach will be discussed.
90 min: $1150
Post-assessment Single sessions
Guided single private sessions to review and reassess progress from discussed practices from initial meeting.
Most suited for clients with intermediate training experience and knowledge.
60 min: $1,480

*Must commit to 6 meetings over 4 weeks. Next phase to be discussed based on progress.

Overall Puppy Training
$9,980 - 10hours/8 weeks validity
8 meetings covering all puppy training essentials. Only for dogs below 5 months of age.
